Well after about a week of rain I couldnt stay home. I had to try even though I had to walk a long ways to get to my spot. It was better than staying home. Freakin cold too. Didnt really do great found tons of broken items but managed a few. No points just tools. The best find of the day was this tiny drill. HH everyone!

Good day Rock. Better than not going at all. Flint pops when wet. It is flipping stick time :)

Pretty material Rock. Any new find beats looking at old ones, as rain falls. I pick the rain as the best time to hunt. No other people to bother you and plenty of fresh stones turned up.

I like to hunt it after it dries cause all the stones are then shinny in the sunlight. It was cloudy yesterday. Plus the mud cakes on your boots. Going to rain again tonight. Maybe next time I get out I will find better but it cured the itch for now. Not all days can be great. Thanks for the kind words everyone.

After looking at these closer I believe they are Gravers and not drills.

Yup. Nice ones

I second that. I do not have a graver as nice as either of those. Nice! Rock, as you mentioned, sun light really makes the difference on a hunt. Personally, I find more on cloudy days, and I hunt in sunglasses on really bright days. People have always thought that was strange. My sunglasses are prescription though.

I use to have some in sunglasses. They were Ray Bans and really nice. I threw them in my truck one day it started to down poor and I ran to roll up my windows and when I sat down....well you can solve that. Oh the one on the left has a very nice side flute. I guess it is for hafting and the one on the right has a side ground down like a scraper. They are the best 2 I have ever found. I got some in quartz but they are rough. Thanks
