Ya I was trying to find them -- gonna be a search-- but they are early year cufflinks.. Found them where I found the 7661 Public Cart badge--and the NYC police button--- maybe they add up?

I thought the same but the whole core is formed, not just a tapped hole. Saw pictures on line and it shows many musket balls with holes in them.

So far my guess would be a "self leveling foot glide"... but ? ? ?

Anyway to get another picture of the opposite sides of both items ?

I'm going to say it's a century older than a "self levelling foot glide" :)

BTW I'm liking the cufflinks, nice one!

Pepper...
These actually have been around for awhile...
And I am not really stating that IS what it is... just pointing out the "possibilities" and what it reminds me of off the top of my head.

LEt me get some coffee in :P

PS... that pic I posted is a modern one... will look for an antique one.

Ya gotta admit...
It does "resemble" a self leveling glide...

Share the wealth man :P ***AARC extends his empty cup out to Pepper to refill***

Only if you can handle the kick.:) IMG_20150929_073058104.jpg

The round item with the hole might be off a knife/dagger hilt?

Oh... I am "oldschool"... I can handle the kick... :P
The question is... can the coffee handle me ?

At one time I would drink a pot of coffee... then follow up with 2 large Rockstar energy drinks... THEN switch to Coca Cola for the remainder of the day.

And still yawn :P

Looks like a good possibility to me, sure looks flat on the bottom from the pic. Or maybe a piece of a drawer pull.
