My 1st Merc On 1st Hunt with Patriot !

Well.got to use Patriot for 1st time this morning at same tot lot been using QDP.Found 1941 Merc just after deciding to hunt little longer! Also found 8 Dimes,2 Quarters,2 Nickels,a locket,small bracelet(prob no value) and a Cool Mini,Jet Airplane,not in pics.

Nice going! I remember finding my first Merc. Man that sucker was hard to find. The subsequent ones have come much easier haha.

The first Mercury dime is the metal detecting equivalent of a first kiss. Mine was a 1943-D in a pine woods 30 years ago, and I remember it like yesterday.
