Well after a good bit of rain last night I took a walk with the E-trac this afternoon through a field that's produced spanish silver in the past. Today started off hot! First signal I came across today was a shaky 12-34/12-35 and bounced down into the ferrous range a few times. Steady enough to want me to dig it though. I thought it was going to be a piece of aluminum can the way it sounded, but was happily suprised to see this lil guy pop out of the hole. It looks pretty good to me!

Can I get some of you experts out there to help me ID this? It's approx. 21x16mm, and weighs in at 1.96g. I'm guessing a 1 Reale cob, but I have no idea how old it might be or under who's rule it was struck. Any help would be greatly appreciated in ID'ing it. Thanks for the help!

Happy Hunting!

-Nate

I'm certainly no expert but here's a shot: Potosi Mint, 1 Reale, Assayer VR, 1692 Thats my best guess.
