Treasure addicts like us want pictures even if it is crusty and has no details showing lol! I have posted the crusty pictures before myself and then later add the cleaned up pictures hehe =)

It's really bad though. I could just make out the ONE CENT on the reverse if the light is shining on it from the side.
I HATE FERTILIZER! :censored:

I found my second large cent too this year. All in my back yard. The first one was dated 1838 and in nice condition. The second one I found two weeks ago is another story. Dated 1797 but the condition is poor. It took a lot of cleaning to be able to read the date.

MoreSound can you post a pic of what you've got to work with. It can really vary on a coin by coin basis. Some are just a matter of removing crud that's covering detail. Some you have to keep a certain amount of crud in the right places to show contrast that brings out detail.

I think I'll leave it as is for now.

For I just noticed that the olive leaves are different ... ITS A DRAPED BUST!!!!
