my Alaska adventure

Well, I just finished 2 weeks in alaska (Fairbanks,Seward,Anchorage,North Pole,Denali) and had a real good time. Brought my mxt with me but only managed to find the usual coins and a 1953 silver dime. This was partly due to other pland being made by my wife and also because I fell through a hole while detecting along a creek bank. It left me with what I believe is a hairline fracture of my tibia. I am limping but still mobile. If it is still sore in a month I will see a Doc. I would say that its nice to be back but the Alaska 55 degrees down to Floridas 100 plus is a bit much for me. Ill take the cold.

Sounds like a nice trip with the exception of the fx'd tibia..I'm not sure that waiting a month is a good idea..wouldn't want you to have a permanent limp! Welcome back!
