My ears were ringing

With summer quickly coming to an end and Lake Erie water temps down to 68 degrees I just had to take advange of a sunny, 70's degree weather forcast, skip work and head to the beach. Was there at dawn but the air temp was only 55 so I wore my waders into the water. I started out on my favorite beach.

It wasn't long and the sun warmed things up a bit so I shed the waders and put on the bathing suit. I wasn't getting a lot at the first beach so I moved to another one that I had not hunted before, glad I did, found 3 rings there. I spent about 6 1/2 hours in the water and for the most part had the beaches to myself.

Found some clad, junk, 3 rings.

I actually scooped up the small shovel in waste deep water. Here are the rings.

Man, I hate to see summer end.

yeah shrecky, I figure I got a month or so left and then its dry land only. a wetsuit extends the season but eventually mother nature wins out.

Thanks I don't think the whisle is old, I assume it belonged to a Life Guard. I'm not sure what 10 K F means

Nice finds Shrecky.

Can't wait till fall and winter. I get my best hunting in during oct and dec. Not looking forward to the snow and ice though. I've hunted lake erie a few times. Just the dry sands. Very minimal finds there. I need a water unit also.
