Hey man! you're my hero! I've been wanting to dig the eagle for 39 years now.

I know one is out there waiting for me LOL!

Great digs all the way.

I have only found about five Indians in four years. They come up out of the ground when i dig everything. They give off a broken signal. The eagle came up as a quarter-bottle cap at 70 on my xlt

NIce finds. I found my first Flying Eagle cent a couple of yrs back. What a great
find, keep looking you just might find the ever elusive GOLD COIN.

I know how you feel about your coins, the way they come out of the ground. Here
in Ohio we have the same problem. Some of the Coins come out of the ground
in really great shape, but most of the older coins, especially the indian, wheaties,
V-nickels and 2 cent coins look like crap. They can't be cleaned because they
just get worse.

Thanks for the post and HH, Ringfinder

wow -- nice finds -- keep us updated -- to bad about the merc, but better 1/2 merc than no merc -- just be glad it wasn't a 1916D
