I couldn't believe my eyes when I pulled this little beauty from the sand today. "Gold ring with an Emerald"! My first gold ring, I thought.

Next time out I think I will carry a magnifier or at least my reading glasses. The tiny stamp turned out to read 'Avon', not 18kt.

I present a genuine 1979 vintage Avon Gold colored ring with a green rhinestone. Value estimate: zilch.

The hunt goes on. No prisoners!

It's kind of weird. I would never have imagined that one day I would have a collection of cheap hoop earrings.
