Today i did went on my first hunt.
I did go to a camping thats closed over the winter. On this camping there is a popular beach that i did decide to try out.
The hunt went much better than i had hoped for. I did even find a ring! a Phantom ring. ;D

I did find: Not in use any more
two- 10 kronor one- 25 ?re
four- 5 kronor six- 10 ?re
nine- 1 krona two- 5 ?re
seven- 50 ?re (3 old, 4 new,)

one- Norwegian 1 krone
one- Dutch 5cent

My new ;D record is the 25?re from 1943
And i apologize for my english. ;)

HappyMeal,
Awsome job for your first time out.
No problem with your english.

Lonewolf, 10 Kroner = $1.23 probably not gold, however I think they made some older one out of gold

Good Luck and HH

Very good HM, It is really appreciated when someone shows coins not normally seen here. Your grammer is different but your spelling is excellent. Wish I could spell that good all the time.

Really cool coins.

Halla HappyMeal Nice finds! The phantom ring is an interesting find also. Would love to eventually go to Sweden and look up some relatives. My great grandfather came over from Sweden many years ago and participated in the Oklahoma Land Run. Naturally he changed his name when he became a US citizen. His previous name was Sjoholm. For you interested, it's pronounced like shoe home. Lycklig jakt (rough translation--HH)

Is that 10KR Gold??
BADDOG is right the 10kr is not :( a gold coin, and it is a fairly new coin (1991) so it has sadly never been made out of gold. According to the Bank of Sweden so is made of 89%copper, 5%aluminium 5%zinc 1%tin http://www.riksbanken.se/templates/Page.aspx?id=9120

rasrandy:
Do the older ones on the bottom have dates?
Yes they have. The large 5?re is from 1955 and the small 5?re is from 1972 the 10?re is from 1975-1983
And last the shining 50?re, it is from 1954 and have a design that i never seen before.

stoney56: Sj?holm means sj?=lake holme=islet. Name of this type type was often made by a rich farmers second son that became a priest to show that he was learned and not a simple farmer any more. :)
