I just got my white beach ID 300 and sand scoop in the mail today, went out as fast as possible to try them out. It will look like a rubbish find for you pros but for a 4 month noob I'm very pleased! :laughing7:

The ring is junk :tongue3: but it's my first ever so I'm very happy! :icon_thumright: I also found a 50 pence coin from 1997 all the way over here in Hong Kong ??? , another first for me.

So glad my white beach works, I still need to get confident to the sounds and working the shallow water (lifting that sand scoop out is HARD WORK) but today was a good day for me, thanks for reading and sorry for wasting your time! :happysmiley:

Cheers, not my first time out but first time with the white beach. It's great being able to stand in the water and not worry about anything :)

If you find an old Timex watch (it takes a licking and keeps on ticking) with a broken brown strap (silver face) just off the Star Ferry dock in Kowloon, I dropped it there in 1973.

You can keep it, it's probably not worth sending back by now.

Congrats on the hunt, and continued good luck!

oh no it's probably buried under 20000 metric tonnes of dirt with a sky scraper on top as a cherry! they have reclaimed so much land the old pier is a memory ! :(
