Forgot to say about the ring;

Rings of this type are known as 'fede rings', from the Italian, 'mani in fede' - hands in faith'. The emblem has been used since Roman times.

Pretty sure this one is circa 1820s.

Most pre-1800 are Silver or Pewter, & don't have the handle shape of the one pictured. ie. this Fiddle Pattern was popular in the 1800s. Although other Fiddle pattern variants were popular in the 1780s but they look different from the one above & are Pewter.

But I only have a very shallow knowledge in these, so may have missed the point, there are other spoon people on here that may chime in.
