my first shield nickel

spent 1/2 hour in a field before i got called home
i had just got done digging this shield nickel my first and a coin that was on my short list
now i have to wait till friday to get out again

That is a nice one too! I have discovered more old nickels lately than you can shake a stick at. People just don't dig em around here or don't know how to. I too found my first shields a few weeks ago.
