I am relatively new having been detecting for just short of a year. I have come close to finding silver numerous times this year (I must have a dozen 65 Rosies and quarters of the same vintage) but have been frustrated at finding the good stuff. Until today! I got the quarter signal at the tot lot that has given up a lot of clad this year. It wasn't deep in the wood chips so I kneeled down to brush away the chips. But no quarter showed up; rather, it was a nice sterling silver ring. It looks like it could be a woman's wedding band though it wouldn't necessarily have to be a wedding ring. But silver, Silver, SIlver, SILver, SILVer, SILVEr, SILVER! Can you tell I am excited!!
