My half cent

I found this about a month ago in the middle of the city, in a park, less than 50' from a playground. Due to it's rough condition I at first doubted it was anything interesting at all. For a while I thought it might be a large cent because of the wreath-like circle on the back. I couldn't make any sense of the front. I came across a picture of an 1840's era braided Liberty 1/2 cent and it started to make sense. The pictures are marked up a bit with what I think I see. I'd welcome confirmation or an informed contradiction.

Defenitly a half cent or large cent, depending on size. And yes 1840's would be correct. Nice find. :thumbsup:
