My merc's worse than Nana's....hit by a train

I didn't find this today....I found it several years ago in my step-father's yard. It actually *is* a mercury dime....and under a loupe, you can see E Pluribus Unum, and you can make out the outline of the fasces and some of the the olive branch. The front is the smooth side.

Definitely the worst merc I have ever found.

I thought I would add my entry into the 'ugly merc' competition. If you look closely you can see the neckline, the front of the face, and the wings on the cap. This one came out of Puget Sound:

Yall wanna see a bad merc? I was spittin and rubbin this thing for 5 to 10 minutes trying to convince myself that it wasn't a zinc penny. Yeeha, it wasn't! :P Weird thing is that I found a very nice 1917 merc maybe 20 feet from this cruddy one. Some hardcore electrolysis made the merc distinguishable. HH all!
