Hello everyone. To make a long story short. My father inlaw passed away
last year.We moved back to my hometown and my mother inlaw stays with
us.We got a big house in my small town. One condition for me was to get back
into fire and rescue.Another was when i wanted to get away and hunt no
questions asked. My wife is so sweet and we allways have been soulmates. We
have been together since i was 15 (35 years now)This home was built in 1916.
Needless to say when we were moving i was swinging the detector while resting.
I found a 45 merc and about ten wheat pennies.Three were a 25, 27 and a 35 they are
still soaking.I also found my first whole knive. It was found open and a few old toy
cars and trucks.Anyway i wanted to share my finds with you.HH Wolfbite

I predict you'll be pulling a lot more out of your yard, at least I hope so. Grats on the merc!

Sorry to hear about the father in law, Wolfbite. But congrats on not only the good finds, but also on finding a woman that will tolerate our excentric hobby.

Nice finds, love the knife. I have to agree, you are a lucky man, to have a wife who lets you enjoy this great hobby.
I too have a wife like that. Thank goodness. The metal detecting club I belong to has a dinner at the end of the hunting season just to show our appreciation to our wives. It is our way of thanking them for letting us enjoy our hobby.
