nice one Tim!! I have not found a silver in change in like 8 years but it is sure nice to find silver when you least expect it. Now you got what is equivalent in silver weight to 1/2 a 40%er :D

Nice score TZ. I'm still looking for my first "received in change" silver. Been looking since the 1970's.

One more for the pile, sure is a thrill. I can remember getting silver halves in change, and still have my first '64 Ken.

Tim, where have you been? Have not seen any of your postings for a long time, or did I miss something along the way. Still stacking regardless of how small.

I'm kinda the opposite!
I STILL get the occasional mercury dime or Pre-64 Washington quarter in my change.

I've been hoping for more steel Lincoln's!!!!
I found a 1943 once as a kid on the ground outside the local ranch supply, and my mother who works at a bank squirreled a few away for me from the vault, but I always wanted some cashier to give me that worthless and ugly but completely "cool to me" gray Penny in my change.

I'm weird though. I am not a coin guy at all, but there are some of those coins i come across that I set aside.

I have a Crown Royal bag that is nothing but 2004 Texas quarters, and another that is nothing but Bicentennial quarters. Makes no sense, I know.
