coming home from cabelas i notice they are tearing up a road next to an abondoned church and house. well i come back around nine and my 1st target is a 1911 v nickel. yipeeeeeee!i did a little happy dance and kept detecting. that was all i found that night but i will be back.
i know this find might not sound like much but it is my oldest and best find and my only old coin find besides from a few wheaties

Great find on the v nickel, Any coin with a 1911 date is a great find,especially a nickel. Nickels are a tough find for many,because of where they fall in the discriminating area.Good job Dan

AAAH.....ATA-BOY on the "V"!!!! Those are fun coins to dig!!! Just wait until you break into the 1800's and dig a shield!! Well done and keep up the effort! 8)
