Timekiller, that camera is a keeper for sure. The new pics looks great.

You should keep practicing with different lighting and you'll master it in no time. If you have macro or super macro, make sure it is on before taking close-ups of coins and relics.

These are largely un-researched & unappreciated in the UK. Very unlikely to find anymore info than what I gave from the most comprehensive book on these. You would need to go to a local paper archive to find more or a local Leeds Museum (even then they might only have the same info given)

Well I got chance to speak with the people who dug the other two known tokens here in the U.S..Nice to talk with them.They seem nice and was very shocked to see another one had been found.They gave me some names of books on these type of tokens,and offered all they knew on them.But was't much more then I had found out on here.These are the sites given and found.

Much as expected, although this is a little more coverage than most tokens.

I bet they were excited & surprised!

Who cares about the banner really, its taken you on this journey of discovery with the help of Tnet & from someone on the other side of the pond How many other finds are likely to stur up this much historic interest Maybe you will get lucky again, the site might have more of these! The field I'm doing at the moment seems to have many different types but all the other fields I do very few turn up. So there maybe others....

Well what tha,Gotta say this is a way to get me!I sure wasn't exspecting this when I came on here this morning!Unbelievable it's almost like I just posted it.I said way back that the thrill wouldn't be the same,that was a undersatement totally off guard on this one.And is exciting to relive it again.Although I have a secret to.I like using it to keep me determined to stay at it and find more neat stuff. It was a lifetime find for me no lie.And as I already said blessed to have found such a rare piece of or history.I also am proud of each of you and your passion for a great hobby and site to post them on.All about sharing a passion for things we like and learning from them.
