My one artifact from the trip...uniface knife

Well, here it is, a wicked looking knife. It is as fine an example of a uniface knife as I have ever found. Shown here with a modern day .45-70 cartridge for size...

Never ceases to amaze, how the one side can be so barren, and then the other is like a symphony of detail. To wit...

Might have been a lone piece, but still very much worth the walk.
From the looks of the weather this morning there was a LOT of rain in that area last night, so hoping it turned over some new material in the creek for next trip.

very nice!!! good luck on your next trip. I was told this morning by a neighbor we had 9 inches of rain here, cant wait for the creeks to get back down. Im sure they got washed out and turned over. Take care! JYD...

A very purdy knife, BW! We just got 5 inches of rain up here in Oklahoma yesterday and hopefully our creeks were turned over, too.

You racked up though on the really old knife . I like the knife best. They are right its a wicked looking thing. Nice recovery. Looks like it survived better that than the brass :dontknow:

No bucks on trail cam yet, TN, but if you go to "My Daily Snapshot" I'll post a pic of some does that should be singing a nice "siren song" very shortly. Unfortunately only had cam out overnight in one spot.
