when reffering to redbook please include year of redbook.... my 2010 redbook has it listed at 325.00 for vf an 450.00 EF.... I am very sure it would be one of those grades.... after dropping a grade for being dug....

I don't think it would grade that high being dug Mud, I think it might have a very small chance of being au-50 but with it being dug you would need to down grade it 1-2 grades those are the grades I posted

Your not understanding what I am saying.. I am saying that had this been in a store for sale it would probly be au 50, but since it was dug it would be au-50 an dropped a grade or 2 for being dug

I understand you very well. :icon_thumleft: I am well aware of the fact coins lose value and grade if dug. :icon_thumleft: If anything I try to make it clear to people on here they will never get a coin graded properly as long as its dug. :read2: Any time I see grading brought up I try and tell people this. As for this coin I think they can get cleaned or dug with AU details. :icon_scratch: I'm not saying it will grade AU i'm saying the detail is there and it will likely get AU-details but cleaned or dug.... ??? I don't think your understanding me. :icon_scratch:

I'm happy we are having this talk it will help other people understand about grading dug coins. ;D I'm not saying the above to be rude or to disrespect you or to argue at all. :hello: I'm just saying what I know and trying to help others understand. Please don't take anything I said personal. :notworthy:

Keep @ It and HH !! ;D :D

There both really nice.

The barber halfs are hard to come by. I've been lucky to find as many as I have.
