gypsy, do you have a university close to you? the reason i ask, is that here in delaware, the university of delaware has a phenomanal map room available to the public with all kinds of local maps to look at. maybe there is a similar resource available to you at your local university. just a thought. someone said the historical society as well, which is an excellent suggestion. sometimes those folks have info thats not available from other sources. good luck.
