Hey ya'll I need some held IDing this naval coat button I dug yesterday. It has two anchors and a canon under the shield. To me the two anchors under a shield is coast guard but I never saw that emblem with a canon. would love to get a ID and a approximate date. It is a two piece with two holes instead of a shank. WWI OR II or late 1800's??? Thanks IMG_1363.JPG IMG_1364.JPG IMG_1365.JPG IMG_1366.JPG IMG_1367.JPG

Agreed, steel-backs & salt water are not a good combination.
