Need help with hallmarks on this brooch...

In need of help with this brooch I picked up this weekend....it has real pearls...looks to be a letter M In a shield and a letter S in a square... ....thx

It's M for Mikimoto and S for sterling/fine silver. I learned that here last year after purchasing a similar brooch, I believe mine went for around 150 but it had 10 pearls of varying sizes, could also have gotten more had I been willing to let it sit longer. Regardless this is a great score!
