Need some info on an ADS2 detector by garrett

Hi all, saw one of these ADS2 detectors in a thrift shop for $45. Were, are they good detectors for coins and jewelry and is that a good price

.....Yes that is a good price......that is about what I pay for some of my Parts Detectors......now if you find it with batteries and in good operating condition......that would be a big bonus......one in good operating condition probably normally sells for around $100.00 to $150.00.....so you have to decide........................LOL.......Joe
