There is a slight cup on the other side as well. Not near as deep as this side
 

Not for sure what it is, but it could be a pivot stone for starting a fire with a bow or it could be a unfinished game stone:dontknow:What ever it is it's a cool find:thumbsup:
 

could be a discoidal, hammer stone, or game piece.

Is it made from Green Stone?
 

Reaper is right nearly every one will be cupped on each side. New term archeologist use is cupulet for the dimple,,, I am not even sure it is a word yet. Nice artifact and example that will display well.
