Was hoping someone could educate me on some things I have found. Everything found in Southeast Ga. in about a 5 acre area. Just had firebreaks dug so that's bringing a lot up. Also other than ID'ing, do you think I would do any better to dig deeper or just keep walking breaks. Their about 1' deep. 3rd item on top row is a piece of pottery. Any help appreciated

The bottom left looks like a Dalton base. The far right looks like a well used point; a knife that's been resharpened many times. The other one above the Dalton base on the right might have been broke during resharpening or use. Both that and the far right point appear to be the same type (maybe Kirks). The rest appear to be debitage. The piece left of the point to the far right might be a broken piece of soap stone.

It's always advisable to dig deeper 👍

I can't ID them other than to say you got some artifacts there. I don't know about digging deeper, but every time it rains pretty hard go out and walk those fire breaks.

Yeah that dalton looking base is a real winner, are the edges on it ground? Either way it says that spot probably has stuff approaching 10k years old, you could be on a heck of a spot.

Wow! That's amazing. Thanks. Don't know what you mean by edges being ground. Is this the one you're talking about?
