Hello,

So I know nothing about metal detectors and want to learn so I stumbled across this site. I just found out my father has aquired some land that is only a couple miles away from the "battle of barbourville" (CW battle) located in knox county kentucky. This interested me to get a MD to search the land :laughing7:
well let the searching begin for my infeed of knowledge about metal detecting. O yeah and what if any fast suggestions would you guys have for a beginner?
thanks!

welcome, the AT Pro i nice mid range price detector, it's user friendly and easy to learn and water proof to 10ft. I have one and a minelab etrac and use both equally, also you should pick up a pin pointer too.
