New pickup at goodwill

Went to goodwill with wife to find some chairs and table for our porch and notice this sitting in the corner, it's a whites coin master 6/db geb hip mount metal detector and it works like it should it came with bag and 2 coils,manual and whites headphones and paid $35 for it not sure if I got a deal or not but its cool

Don't know how close of a relative it is to my old 5000 D Series II, but if so the
faster the coil is sweeping the deeper it hunts, and the better the discrimination.

Found a LOAD of coins with that old 5000D SII, so IMO hell yes you got a good buy!

Yea I figured I did, I havnt took it out yet but did a bench test on it and everything seems to work like it should according to the manual, the other coil is a bigger one I would say 12" so guess i will retire the garrett deepseeker I have it needs a new battery tray the old one has a broken battery connector so I put it up forsale on Craigslist for $50 here where I live so hopefully someone will grab it

I might as well go into the uses detector business, went to my moms to get some paperwork and guy across the street was having a garage sell and he had a bounty hunter 1100 for $15 so I grabbed it and what's funny I just sold my 1100 last week for $70 so now I have 4 detectors now guess you can't have enough of them
