16 buffalo nickels at the volleyball courts found them all today in about one hour I am so excited this has been my best coinage day since I started metal detecting tomorrow I'm going back to the close down school where the volleyball courts are to work the school grounds the school was built in 1940 and the new school is built next store anyway enjoy the pictures the dates range from 1933 through 1935 a few are no dates most have a mint mark of D and a few P mint marks as well thay cleand up really nice i soaked them in Evapo-Rust for 2hr are so just google Evapo-Rust works like a charm Take care :headbang::headbang::headbang::hello2:

Thanks buddy i can't believe it makes me wonder who lost theam and who had them i also can't believe i found so many and it is my first time ever finding a buffalo nickel let alone 16 i am stoked haha :)

So they were just grazing around the sand pit. They can sprint up to 25 mph!(true) That is an amazing find and many with dates as well! You have yourself a Virgin dig site! Keep on swinging! Thank you for sharing....................63bkpkr

I know I couldn't believe it either the coins came out blackish but not too too bad I was literally trippin whean I was digging the coins up on the fact I found my first Buffalo then a second in awesome shape and with out that red tarnish just blackish I kept telling myself Ima digg up a diamond ring but I got my self a herd of buffalo hehe I cant even put in too words how happy I am :D
