Hello everybody, Let me start by saying this is a great site and I've learned alot just by reading many of the posts. I went to the beach (Dewey, DE.) on vacation with the family about 6 weeks ago, Having just purchased my whites,I couldn't wait to start giving it a try. I was able to start each morning very early knowning that most of the vacation will be spent with the family. I spent about 4 days with about an hour and a half to spare each morning. Lots of fun,I'm definatley hooked ,here are the pics. firstfinds.jpg

Looks like a good start to me!!

You easily paid for your batteries with that haul. Now I can't wait for your first Wheatie or silver coin to pop up. Welcome to the hobby. Might I recommend investing in a good fingernail scrubber brush?

WTG and I look forward to seeing more.

Until you pick one up, you can just use the wife's toothbrush, also works great for cleaning jewelry, just be courteous and wash it off real well before putting it back!

Great finds and welcome to the hobby! :D
