Might check out "Microsoft's Virtual Earth" since My GE seems to have crashed or got an error. Never heard of GE getting messed up, but last time I'd clicked on an email GE pin link, the satellite image doesn't load, error message about DirectX. My settings don't use DirectX mode, so not sure of the problem. Tried downloading the new GE version twice and it never upgraded.

Any updates on this wreck? I got to fly over it in a tourist helicopter and got some video but there were a lot of waves so it didn't turn out that good. The people running the sightseeing tour had some photos where one had shown what looked like either a cannon or mast but couldn't make it out.

Here is a photo of the schooner Robert L. Bean abandoned on Santa Rosa Island after grounding in fog on February 17, 1926. I believe this is the wreck as the length and beam are identical. Robert L. Bean.jpg
