Hey everyone. After browsing the web for some info on the 1715 fleet I came across this site and decided to make an account. I've lived on South Hutchinson in Fort Pierce for all 20 years of my life and I'm a bit ashamed of my lack of ocean and shipwreck knowledge. I recently started working at a local pawn shop and we have a lot of coins and such from the 1715 fleet so I decided to research more. I plan on getting my open water certification and a ocean kayak once the weather gets a bit warmer. But back to my main question. I'm currently reading "The Rainbow Chaser" by Tommy Gore to learn some more about the Treasure Coasts history, I was just wondering if anyone had any other suggestions of places to learn more such as museums or other books. Thanks again for taking the time to read this and I hope to get to know all of you in the future.

Sorry it took so long to respond. Thanks for the kind welcomes and thank you for all the links. A lot of good information in there. Had a guy come into work today and sell us a bunch of Ayes Indian pottery and other things. The guy had some cool story's to tell.
