I was doing a fresh house tear down in an area i found Civil War bullets at about 15 years ago and got a big overload signal on my MXT. About 30 seconds later i about crapped my pants when a crusted plate came out of the ground i thought was a militia plate. I thought i could make out the shape of a stamped eagle, but when i got it home i quickly found out it was something totally else. The plate appears to have a man wearing a zoot suit holding some kind of jug on his shoulder IMG_0721.JPG

Its a printing plate. That is super cool. Clean it and roll it in ink and stamp a piece of paper. I want to see what it shows! Nice find.

I think that's a very cool find John! 8)

As ynpto804 already mentioned, it's a printing and looks to date from the 1920's or 30's! :o

Congrats,
Dave
