welcome your in a good spot. Theres a fella named Dan out of Cameron Park thats knows goods spots and is always looking for a ride.

My store is in Lotus I'll be open weekends in March. Five days in April.

Ill be holding advanced prospecting classes starting in May.

I just got a dry suit so I will be sniping the S fork a few days a week once the storm pattern lets up.

Hi everyone,

I live near placerville, gold country. Looking for prospecting buddies-- panning, detecting whatever. Just want to get out and find some gold!

Too bad Nor CA is so big, I just moved up to Crescent City an 8 hour drive. When the weather gets better I have a couple t-net buddies that are local who will be showing me the ropes. Gold country up here too.

Gold washer,
Sounds good. I am very flexible for prospecting. As I get older, prefer metal detecing and sniping, not so bad on the back. Contact me, I am in cameron park.

If you ever want to venture out of the American River basin, There's gold in the northern Mother Lode too. But you gotta work for it. My claim is close enough to Quincy for an emergency beer run, but far enough away we only see one or two cars pass through on a weekend.

I've been trying to find some of similar interests to go out with too. I have a claim south of Happy Camp on the Klamath. I live in Hayward and will be near Lake Davis in Plumas County for a week at the end of October and plan on a few days panning depending on the weather I just purchased a Keene Mini Max and am eager to try it out.

How viable is winter/late fall prospecting in this area? I'm going to be moving close to there in a few months.

Depends on the area you are speaking of. A few different areas have been mentioned. Generally miserable anywhere north or east of the Bay Area .
