I would pick them up also. I recently ran the detector over a house that had burned down years ago. I got a signal, and found a few coins in clothing that had obviously been in a closet. Hangers were there too. Maybe that's what happened here?

Mornin nsdq,
I've found money all my life, my brother has not. Once at a polish park in Dearborn Michigan a 12 year old my brother met at the park had a $10 bill from his folks and my brother talked him into telling me he'd found it at the park. Well, that was the end of taking rides. Back then you could turn your ride ticket back in for cash, the park concession stand areas, big park, were covered in wood chips so change was hard to find though it was there but tickets and $1 bills were easy. I walked out of there with $20's in my pocket and my brother never did anything like that again. People loose it and some literally throw it away and then if we are prudent we find it!

Have fun..........63bkpkr
