Hello all,

I have never done digging for treasure before and I want to start this hobby with my son. Out of my lame research, these two seems to be the best ones. Would both of these find gold jewelry and raw gold (nuggets)? I will probably be hunting in the woods and fields.

The answer would be yes. Bothe the 900 & Legend will find both and both also have a dedicated prospecting mode if you so choose. Can't really go wrong with either one. Based on your two choices. I think they both include a six inch coil as well. Can be a must have item, I own both machines, and I like them in their own way.

I agree with this. I use both and like them both. I use a 6 inch coil on the Nox 900 and a 6x9 coil on the Legend. You can't go wrong either way.
