Can you liken the taste to any "normal" food? Yikes! I thought I was not the squeamish type but those are frightening looking critters.

Morels, 'shrooms, Hickory Chickens, Landfish, whatever you like to call them I love em'. Usually spend half of turkey season looking for morels instead of hunting ..................

Up in N.E. Iowa we turn this kind of treasure into hard cash!
Morels were going for $20 a pound last year.
I'll be heading up the first full week of May to cash in!
