Believe it or not, I was also going to say Angel Baby. In fact Rossie and the Originals has a cool web site.
I also like "Just to be with You" by The Passions, and "We Belong Together" by Richie Valens.

Re: Nostalgia Time! What's your 3 Fave Songs?

Mine are:

Amazing Grace (don't care who sings it...as long as they sing it well :))

What a wonderful world by Louis Armstrong (my life's theme song)

Let me call you sweetheart (reminds me of my grandfather singing it to my grandmother)

I have so many favs....so many too choose...anything 50's, 60's, 70's and early 80's (minus the acid rock and heavy metal)....after that....it wasn't music anymore :(

I guess that pretty much dates me!!

Wow! I used to hang out with Rosie back in the early 80's. She was a friend of a friend but we became buddies for a while. Super nice lady and very talented.

I haven't seen her in almost 20 years and hadn't thought of her in quite a while. Thanks! ;D

My Ding-a-ling

Chuck Berry's "MY DING-A-LING"....OMG...you had to bring that one out...huh? LMAO....while stationed up at 'roton Groton...outside the base and up the road was a bar we use to hang out at. Well, a bunch of us (all males and myself...shipmates)...anyways...sitting around, having a few beers and having a grand time. Then the band plays "My Ding-A-Ling" and me, drunk off my "tushay"....starts singing and of course, my shipmates chime in...I was the only female singing while all the guys sang "Won't you play with my ding a ling"........OMG...that was the best night ever. The next morning I could not talk...I lost my voice...The band played that song twice and I was so hung over....God Love my Senior Chief....he let me go home!!! LMAO....Thanks for the memories!!!!!!!!
