Went through a box of cents I've had laying around for weeks, never opened it till last night. Very good wheat results, as: 1909 (no vdb) in fine, 1912 poor, 1918 about good, 18 (1940'(s)), 16-(1950'(s)), but most exciting of all 8 1958-D in extremely good BU shape. They must have been dumped for sure from some collection. I don't even have one that BU in my own folder until now. Dime results have been dismal, less than one per box, avg this year is .8/ box.
Working back outside landscaping maintenance has taken up all my free time. Not like the spare time of winter.

All those wheats including a nice '09 and 8 BU's is a really good box. Shinny red wheat cents are beautiful coins. I haven't found many nice condition red wheat cents myself but they are always my favorite cent finds too. I've found a redish '55S and a really red '40 and maybe a few others from the '50's in the past but not too many. I also remember getting a box a couple of years ago that had quite a few red cents with dates in the '60's which is unusual for me. Just never know what u might find in each box.

HH!

Thanks "SilverFace", I think I'm going to back off some on dimes a little ( not very good results lately), and concentrate once again of 'ol reliable cents. You can always find something, even if it's just the copper.
