Not bad for two hours

I was metal detecting with my buddy recondigger in a field in western NY with 3" of snow. Some may say this is when u know u have a problem lol. We've only been to once before. The large cent is from 1839, a token from 1837 that reads on the back "millions for defence" and "not one cent". Two pieces of busted Spanish silver. One is 1774, the other I'm unable to get a date. The Indian head was from 1898.

The token is a hard times token. It reads millions fo defense not one cent for tribute. Nice find!

Congrats! I wish I had the old areas around here. But I guess the trade off for hunting all year kinda evens it out

It was kinda nice to have the snow on the ground. It made it easy to grid off a section of field and to see what we had already be over.

Not bad for 2 hours..... ha ha. Those would be among the best finds for many who have done it for a long time. Really great finds there my friend. Congrats on what I would consider an AWESOME HUNT.

Great finds! Wish I could dig under the snow here in Minnesota! Frozen ground too.
