Nothing old or rare, but I spent about 30 minutes at a local park....mainly detecting around the playground equipment.
Two pennies, which were actually on top of the ground, just hard to see
and one nickel, which was about 2 inches down.
Haven't looked at the date on the pennies, but I'm sure they're not very old..the nickel is from 1980.

main thing was, I HAD FUN!!!"

I'll get out more on the next day I have time off. coins.jpg

Congrats on your first finds! It only gets better. To find the older coins try and thing of where people would have been a hundred years ago or more.

Fun is what it is all about. Start hunting the older places, and you will find the older coins and relics.

If you're not having fun, there's no point in going. I've had a blast on days when I came back with nothing but trash. Welcome to TNet and best of luck on your next hunt!
