One I think is another ray tooth.

The round one with the "Buda Face" or "bug shape texture" may not be a fossil. It is made out of the same material the other fossils are made of.

Anyway, for those that care.....

Really tough to identify. Probably phosphatic fossil material from a vertebrate. Would take a expert in vertebrates to ID.

Thanks for the reply George.

The symmetry of the pattern with what caught my attention. My first thought has been a thick scale. (it is a couple of mm thick)

help a newB out....what makes you think it is material from a vertebrate? Material...pattern?

Phosphatic material like this commonly comes from vertebrates whereas most fragments of invertebrates are calcite. I spent many years identifying fragments of fossil invertebrates in college and usually specimens like this which stump me are from vertebrates. Your other specimens on an adjacent thread are probably from vertebrates also.

You probably would need a vertebrate paleontologist(fish) to ID it.
