Hello everyone, last weekend one of the cities near by was having their "Spring Clean up" week... basically people could throw away anything and everything they don't want any more.... I mean there is a Crap load of Crap! But some is good stuff.... I picked these up.... Can anyone help me with the Hallmarks? Looks Like a 3 TJ (put together) and in the little box its a star and a 916. They are cute little shot glasses.... Please let me know what you think...

By the way I got a bunch of other cool stuff....

There is something inside the star, can you use a magnifying glass and see what it is? I think it may be a Russian hallmark.

Nice! looks like you got yourself some .916 silver. Not quite .925, but pretty darn close. It's definitely European silver and most likely a bit older too. Great save!

agree on .916 silver, that mark after the 3 looks like an apothecary measurement symbol.

Thanks for everyones help... They are neat little shot glasses, trying to decide if I should keep em or put em on Feebay.... :) Here is something else I picked up... I found this Document from the Spanish American war, its original... It looks to be discharge papers from a soldier, on the front it says that date of discharge, name of dude, where at.... and where he is from when he volunteered and the signatures of the officers, on the back it gives a description of where there regiment went (Philippian Islands through san fran) Heres a pic of the front and back, I had to make them smaller because It wouldn't let me attach it....

The pile I got this from the lady was throwing away all her dead parents stuff, her dad was a photographer and in the military and he was a mason, so she was throwing away all his old pictures mostly black and white some color of Old Military Vehicles (some in action) and Aerial shots of Airplanes and landed planes... he also has pictures from the moon landing (the guys walking around on the moon and the lunar shuttle I added my two favorite ones, but here are 10 pictures total.... they are really neat.. He also used to work for a company here in Northern Ca, that made Military vehicles for the Marines in the 1950's some of those pictures are just too cool... they are before the vehicles were every used in the field... Anyway I'm not sure if there is a market for those, but I couldn't just let them get thrown away... (I hope Im not turning into a hoarder.... )

You need to research those photos, anything NASA can be crazy collectible.
And as a bartender and collector of bar related items, those glasses are really nice.
Damn fine hunt!

old military photos bring a few bucks to the right people depending on the subject. I bought a bunch of WWII bomber photos at a flea market once that showed the nose art and there was also a series of pics of a bomber that had crashed showing the wreckage. I paid 10 bucks for the lot and they sold on Ebay for close to $100.
