DSC02618.JPG Got out today for another couple hours. We had a bit of the 1812 war in this area, the location where this lead balls came from was an early trading post, both the American's and British occupied the area around this location. On the other side of the road was another interesting person whom he was a British trader, he burnt all his out buildings in 1814 just so the British could not use his buildings to stay in. I have been detecting this site for at least 10 or more years and I am still finding dropped lead. HH
