Dropped the kids off where they needed to be and was at my playground site at about 8:30 AM. The rain decided to stay east of us, and other than a stiff breeze, it was a nice morning to dig! Temp was about 65... very warm for this time of the year AND that time of the morning. Changes are a-coming, so I took advantage of the situation!

Second signal dug was the Quarter. I was feeling good, and even thought to myself, "Hey! You got your silver... go home and sleep!" Ummm..... no!

More silver was to be had before I left at 9:50...

Also dug 7 more wheats, which are soaking right now.

Great hobby, ain't it?

Nice digs.....Ain't it fun poppin' the silver goodies from the ground? It was warm here this morning too...and I took advantage of some time while I had some lacquer drying....and I got my silver "fix" too.

Very nice finds.? Reminds me of a neighborhood back in Kansas where all I could find was silver...
Most people don't realize the amount of lost silver in their very own neighborhood.? All I did was knock on some doors and asked to hunt their yard and most people said yes.? The neighborhood was built back in the 1930's though which would account for the high amount of silver that I found.? It was kind of funny, because I could see them peeking out the window watching me.
Very Nice Finds In Deed!
Keep a huntin.

Awesome finds!! What are the dates on the wheats?

The one's I dug today range from the 40's into the 50's. I have dug several earlier ones here, including some from the teens.

This place has been awesome!
