Okay. Here's another long in the tooth story, for those who may be interested. For any wondering if the vikings may have been along the east coast may I point out that the rune stone carved by Leif Ericson, proclaiming the new land he discovered as "Vinland" was discovered on a small island off of Martha's Vinyard, called Noman's Land. It is now under water at high tide and was spotted by the island's owner at low tide when the sun was just right. I'm from Mass, am a history buff and love to throw out these long in the tooth facts for all who think they've heard everything. The vikings certainly sailed along the east coast of New England.

GaBnn3, No won has heard the whole story because it is being uncovered page by page. I believe the Vikings sailed up the Great Lakes. It appears that recorded history in English, Spanish and French surfaced faster than history written in older languages. Frank
PS, Have you hit that place at low tide yet?
