Odd Nickel

Just had a quick question if anyone can help. I have a nickel which at first appears to be blank until you look on the edge and see part of the nickel picture stamped into it, about the size of half of a pencil eraser. It looks like the nickel was way off line when it was stamped and that is the only part that made it. Are these kinds of things valuable in any way or just a neat little mistake to have? By the way, the coin does have the raised edge all around it like any other nickel.

That link is it PBK, mine looks like the upper right image. Perfect. I never knew it was so common, thought I had something truly unique. Thank's alot though. I've always wondered(had the thing for at least 20 years).

Hey, Newline, it's not that common! In fact, it's a neat error that any collector would be proud to add to his collection. Track eBay sales on similar coins, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at what your 5? might bring.
