Hello, RGinn,

We have the Whitetail deer here and their ears aren't very long so those mule deer really stand out
with such huge ears. But I like them. I wonder? Maybe they are long to catch sounds of danger from
farther away than if they had short ears. Sounds reasonable.

THIS IS POST # ONE THOUSAND FOR ME and I am glad it is about wildlife, and deer in particular.

Good pic's, I saw 'mule Deer' when I was logging in Wyoming, they seem much tamer than whitetail when you drive by.
